TGIF! What are you up to this weekend? David and I arrived in Portland earlier this week and are blown away by how much we love it. The city is definitely at its best right now, the air is crisp and trees are changing colors – I can’t believe fall is here already. It has a surprisingly peaceful feel about it, can’t tell if this is unique to Portland or just how it feels in juxtaposition to last weekend in New York City. Either way, we are smitten! Looking forward to a walking tour of the city, hiking, and embracing the city’s coffee culture this weekend.
Here are a few things I have been thinking about lately:
Would you try air-drying your face?
Love these bits of Paris found in New York.
I can’t believe Halloween is just around the corner. Love that this spooky Poe inspired cake looks good too (those witch finger cookies are so repulsive, I can’t stand them!).
How to be a better learner (and the importance of observation).
Looking for something to read? This year’s Man Booker Prize short list has been released.
Seven steps to being more productive.
Is real change coming?
An insider’s guide to Athens. I’ve always wanted to visit!
32 best Aldi products. Curious about these, especially once we get to California where grocery prices are sky high.
