Today is our anniversary and to celebrate we are traveling for 15 hours back to the States.
Just joking, while we ARE technically flying home on our anniversary, we have had the most delightful trip to Ireland and enjoyed a romantic dinner out last night at Forest Avenue in Dublin to celebrate.
These last four years together have been the best of my life and, if it’s even possible, I think about to get even better.
After our wedding and honeymoon, David and I returned to St. Louis and immediately packed up to move to Boulder. It was such a good decision and we have loved calling Boulder home. We are so grateful for the friends we have made here and the adventures we have had.
And now, as we enter our fifth year as a married couple we are about to embark on an even greater journey together. When we get back to the States we will enjoy a quick trip to Vail (an annual trip we take with David’s family) and then go home to finish packing and start our year as nomads.
I am so grateful that my partner in life not only has the same level of wanderlust as me, but even encourages and enables me to take risks and live unconventionally in pursuit of adventure and new experiences. Anyone who knows David knows he is full of smiles, incredibly reliable, loves to try new things and go new places, and is a positive force of energy. I couldn’t ask for anything more.
In honor of our anniversary, here are a few pictures from our wedding:
