Can you believe it is May already? What are you up to this weekend? We are looking forward to attending our friend’s “Cinco de Derby” party during which we will be watching the Kentucky Derby (I’m rooting for Vino Rosso because I like his name, obviously), playing with a Taco Piñata, and drinking both margaritas and mint juleps.
Here are some things I’ve been thinking about lately.
I want to go to LA just to get these custom made.
We had friends over for brunch last weekend and made this. The recipe stuck out to me because it is gluten and dairy free (which can be tricky with breakfast food). It was delicious! Served it with chicken sausage, berries, hash browns and avocado. It was so easy to make (especially if you use store bought salsa). If you are looking for an easy to prep and delicious brunch, that also happens to be dairy and gluten free, I highly recommend it.
After reading this article on the best burritos in each state, I drove down to Denver to meet my bestie and try Colorado’s #1 breakfast burrito. Who makes the best burrito in your state? Have you tried it?
Not only am I fascinated by Israel (my in-laws are there right now) I’ve also been looking to book tickets to a play while we are in New York City. This one might be perfect! It was just nominated for 11 Tony Awards, including best musical.
If I were going to NYC with my brother, I would definitely be seeing SpongeBob SquarePants which has received rave reviews, is nominated for 12 Tony Awards (also including best musical), and boasts contributions from Sara Bareilles, Cyndi Lauper, the late David Bowie, and (unbeknownst to his wife) John Legend.
David and I are not particularly drawn to the Caribbean, but this Adventure-Seeker’s Guide has me intrigued.
