Wishing You A Wonderful Weekend – 7.13.18

Happy Friday!  How was your week?  Any fun plans for the weekend?

I can’t believe we’ve been in Vancouver nearly a week.  We have been busy! Dinner parties with friends (including the lovely one made by my bestie pictured above), trying new restaurants, taking long walks, going to the beach, visiting parks and botanical gardens – and we are just getting started!  Tonight we are going to a folk festival and on Saturday we are having waffles for breakfast, walking to Granville Island, and going to our friend’s parent’s house for homemade lasagna.  Finally, on Sunday I’m going to a bridal shower.  It’s going to be a packed weekend!

Here are some things I’ve been thinking about lately:

Love this experiment rethinking the ways in which we use space in our homes.

Feeling inspired by this alternative to framing photos.

In case you need an excuse to take some time for yourself to read a book.

While I am a huge user of straws, I think this move is a step in the right direction.  For those who want to reduce waste but still like using straws, try these.

Good advice about a piece of bad advice.

Art meets Candy.

Eight new trends that are revolutionizing the way we live.

Hoping to bake this perfect recipe for something sweet in the summer on Saturday.
